“I am a boy mom of two, wife to a supportive husband, and former nurse. Over four years ago I started my own fitness journey losing 80lbs after years of struggling with issues such as PCOS and Bulimia. This is when I started seeing my passion for fitness and wellness blossom. I went on to stepping on stage as a figure competitor for the first time in the spring of 2018. Months after I noticed my body was no longer responding like it has before. I soon came to learn about hormonal imbalances and adrenal fatigue as they were my reality. This led me to dive into research. I couldn’t believe the information I was finding. This is the information the fitness industry should be boasting about. Women need to know about hormones, gut health, stress reduction, and self care just to name a few. Weight loss is not black and white, nor is it just training and meal plans. Coping with my own struggles I knew I needed to be this light for other women. Thats when I found FIT CHICKS Academy and their amazing Holistic Nutrition & Weight Loss Expert program. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Not only was I able to further educate myself, but now I am capable of empowering women to do the same so they can go on to live happier and healthier lives.

Letisha’s “Tastes Like Christmas” Green Smoothie

Hey Guys, Letisha here! Green smoothies are a great way to start the day. They’re quick and easy to make, and perfect for on the go. We call them green smoothies because this is how you can incorporate more greens into your diet. You can try other bases such as unsweetened coconut milk. Switch up your greens and try new ones such as kale, butter lettuce, or arugula. Other veggies such as cucumbers or cauliflower can be used. Feel free to try different fruits. The options are endless.

Makes 1  serving

Ingredients

  • 6oz Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein- mixed berry flavor works well too.
  • Few Ice Cubes
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fennel
  • 2tbsp of Chia Seeds
  • 1 cup of Frozen Mixed Berries
  • 1tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Stevia

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
